Science Spot of the Young Academy is a place to find video's and podcasts about scientific research of The Young Academy. This article gives an overview of diverse locations where you van find more podcasts and video's.

TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. The annual conferences in Long Beach/Palm Springs and Oxford bring together the world's most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes). More than 700 TEDtalks are now available.

MIT World
MIT World is a free and open site that provides on demand video of significant public events at MIT. MIT World's video index contains more than 700 videos

The Naked Scientist
The Naked Scientists are a media-savvy group of physicians and researchers from Cambridge University who use radio, live lectures, and the Internet to strip science down to its bare essentials, and promote it to the general public. Their award winning BBC weekly radio programme, The Naked Scientists, reaches a potential audience of 6 million listeners across the east of England, and also has an international following on the web.

The Edge
The Edge gives video's and articles of scientific discussions, as for example The new science of morality. The Edge: To arrive at the edge of the worlds knowledge, seek out the most complex and sophisticated minds,  put them in a room together and have them to ask each other the questions they are asking themselves.

Science's weekly podcast.podcast takes you on a tour of some interesting stories in the journal and on its sister sites. At the Science website you can also find video's en online seminars .

Each week Nature publishes a free audio show. There is also an online video streaming archive. For selected articles and letters Nature will present streaming videos that feature interviews with scientists behind the research and analysis from Nature editors.
